"Doggie Doo"

Parade

The Pooch Parade will form up at approximately 3 P.M. and will start barking down No. Professor St. at 3:30 P.M. Everyone with a dog is invited to be in the parade!

The Parade Marshalls will be: Channel 19 reporter Denise Zarrella and Channel 19 Sports Anchor Tony Zarrella and their rescued dogs Buddy and Skoobie.

People are also encouraged to enter floats with some dog-related theme. Rescue groups and shelters will participate with their dogs, many available for adoption.

The parade will assemble on the west side of Tappan Square, at the Shansi Memorial Arch, just across from Finney Chapel. We keep the route short so the dogs, especially the short-legged variety, wouldn't tire! The parade will travel south on Professor St., then turned east on W. College St., ending at the corner of W. College and Main St. (Rt. 58).
